Run Google searches and retrieve the results as JSON objects. Send one query per line; Datablist processes them within the same task. You do not need a collection or input rows.

Public ID: bulk-google-source. Get the current definition. You can read it without authentication. Confirm availability in the source catalog.

Settings

Put one query per line in searchQuery, with at most 100 queries per task.

Country and language default to us and en. Set searchPeriod to restrict the time window. searchLimit sets the maximum results per query: 400 by default, up to 1,000. Google may return fewer.

Use resultQuery to identify the query and resultPosition for its search rank. The order of API results is not the search ranking.

searchQuerystringrequired

One Google query per line, such as ceo paris site:linkedin.com/in/.

searchCountrystring

Google country setting. Default to US.

searchPeriodstring

Allowed values: "last_hour", "last_day", "last_week", "last_month", "last_year"
searchLimitnumber

Maximum results requested per query. API tasks default to 400 and accept up to 1,000. Google may return fewer results.

Additional properties are supported.

Outputs

Each result is a JSON object with the fields below. Sources do not wrap results in inputId, status, or outputs. Fields depend on your settings and the data found; extra fields can appear before the catalog lists them.

resultTitlestringrequired
resultSnippetstring
resultLinkstringrequired
format: "uri"
resultPositionnumberrequired

The result position in Google.

resultQuerystringrequired

Search query used to get this result.

Additional properties are supported.

Credits and limits

Cost: 2.5 credits per 10 results.

Each query costs 2.5 credits per group of up to 10 returned results, rounded up independently. For example, 11 results for one query cost 5 credits. Different queries are charged separately; result ordering and API page sizes do not change charging.

Tasks can run for up to 24 hours; completed, failed, or stopped tasks are kept for 90 days. Enrichment and source tasks share your account balance and task limits. Set maxCredits to stop starting new work after a credit threshold; work already underway can still exceed it. See limits and errors.

Accepted task and results

The API returns 202 Accepted with a task ID. Save it, then check links.self every few seconds. Once status is completed, failed, or stopped, read links.results. Failed and stopped tasks can still have useful results. See the task reference.

Example results (sample data and credit amounts):

json
{
"taskId": "00000000000040008000000000000001",
"results": [
{
"resultTitle": "Example Company",
"resultSnippet": "An illustrative search result.",
"resultLink": "https://example.com",
"resultPosition": 1,
"resultQuery": "example business software"
}
],
"nextCursor": null
}

If nextCursor is not null, pass it unchanged in the next request to get more results. Pages default to 50 results; limit accepts 1–100. A page is at most 128 KiB, so it may contain fewer results than requested.
