Authorizations

Authorizationstringheaderrequired

Use an account access token as Bearer <token>.

Get an access token ↗

Retrieve profile, employment, and education details from a LinkedIn profile URL. Send the public input field profileUrl; normalized profile URLs are returned under the same name.

Public ID: linkedin-profile-scraper. Get the current definition. You can read it without authentication.

Settings

Use experiencesNb and educationsNb to choose how much work and education history to return. Send strings: the defaults are "3" and "1".

You can use cached profiles. To request includeUrn or includePictures, disable cached profiles first. Picture URLs can expire.

The enrichment accepts public profile and Sales Navigator URLs. Asking for more history adds numbered experience and education fields. Other fields depend on your settings and what the profile makes available.

includeUrnboolean

Include the LinkedIn internal identifier (URN), for example: ACoAAAIJflYBlveEKEKWvVsjTP4QeXHK8KfcKHg. This ID can be used to build Sales Navigator URLs, like https://www.linkedin.com/sales/lead/XXXX.

Enabled when: acceptCachedProfiles==false.

includePicturesboolean

Include the LinkedIn profile picture and the company logo URL. ⚠️ These URLs expire fast. Download the images to avoid broken links.

Enabled when: acceptCachedProfiles==false.

acceptCachedProfilesboolean

Default behavior is to fetch fresh LinkedIn profile data. Enable this option to use cached profiles when available. Cached profiles cost 20 credits per profile.

Enabled when: includeUrn==false&includePictures==false.

experiencesNbstring

Number of work experiences to return, sent as a string. Defaults to "3".

Allowed values: "3", "5", "10"
educationsNbstring

Number of education entries to return, sent as a string. Defaults to "1".

Allowed values: "1", "3", "5"

Additional properties are supported.

Inputs

Give each input an inputId you can use to match the result to your record. Put the fields below in its data object.

Credits and limits

Cost: 25 credits per profile

Fresh and cached lookups have different credit costs. A missing profile may still involve billable work. The catalog reports variable pricing; task and result credit fields report actual usage.

Send 1–10,000 inputs per task, within 16 KiB per input and 10 MiB per request. Tasks can run for up to 24 hours; completed, failed, or stopped tasks are kept for 90 days.

You can set maxCredits to stop starting new work after a credit threshold. Work already underway can still exceed it. Enrichment and source tasks share your account balance and task limits. See limits and errors.

Accepted task and results

The API returns 202 Accepted with a task ID. Save it, then check links.self every few seconds. Once status is completed, failed, or stopped, read links.results. Failed and stopped tasks can still have useful results. See the task reference.

Example results (sample data and credit amounts):

json
{
"taskId": "00000000000040008000000000000001",
"results": [
{
"inputId": "row-1",
"status": "success",
"outputs": {
"profileUrl": "https://www.linkedin.com/in/example-person/",
"firstName": "Example",
"lastName": "Person",
"fullName": "Example Person",
"linkedInHeadline": "Software engineer",
"enrichmentStatus": "found"
},
"creditsUsed": "1",
"error": null
}
],
"nextCursor": null
}

If nextCursor is not null, pass it unchanged in the next request to get more results. Pages default to 50 results; limit accepts 1–100. A page is at most 128 KiB, so it may contain fewer results than requested.
