LinkedIn Profile Finder from name
Authorizations
AuthorizationstringheaderrequiredUse an account access token as Bearer <token>.
Find a person's LinkedIn profile URL from their name. Add a company, school, or other keyword to help distinguish people with the same name.
Public ID: linkedin-profile-lookup. Get the current definition. You can read it without authentication.
Settings
Set searchCountry to a country code from the catalog's allowed values; the default search country is the US. This controls the search engine's country setting, not the person's nationality.
Set skipIfNotName: true to discard matches with very low name confidence. Leave it false to retain those candidates, then review profileConfidence, the page title, and the summary yourself. A result is a search match, not a verified identity.
searchCountrystringSearch engine country setting. Default to US.

Inputs
Give each input an inputId you can use to match its result to your record. Put the fields below in its data object.
Send fullName, or both firstName and lastName. If you send both formats, fullName takes precedence. The optional keyword narrows the search; use a company or school name when available. Inputs without a usable name return EMPTY_DATA without a lookup charge.
fullNamestringProspect Full Name. Map the "Full Name" input, or both "First Name" and "Last Name"
firstNamestringProspect First Name. Map the "Full Name" input, or both "First Name" and "Last Name"
lastNamestringProspect Last Name. Map the "Full Name" input, or both "First Name" and "Last Name"
keywordstringExtra keyword to narrow search. Ex: Company Name, School Name, etc.
Additional properties are supported.
Outputs
Each result contains your inputId, a status, the data in outputs, and creditsUsed. If the input failed or found no match, error explains why; otherwise it is null.
profileUrl is the matching LinkedIn URL. linkedInUrlTitle and linkedInSnippet provide the search page title and summary when available. profileConfidence is High, Medium, Low, or Very Low; it can be null when no confidence is available.
The catalog hides the legacy linkedInProcessed field, but results can still include it. No-match results can omit the profile fields. Catalog definitions describe known outputs; they do not restrict the fields returned by the action.
profileUrlstringrequiredLinkedIn page URL when found.
"uri"linkedInUrlTitlestringThe page title can give you info about the current job position, the company, etc.
linkedInSnippetstringAbstract of profile summary when possible.
profileConfidencestringConfidence level of the match: High, Medium, Low, or Very Low.
Additional properties are supported.
Credits and limits
Cost: 2.5 credits per lookup (successful or not)
Each attempted lookup costs 2.5 credits, whether or not a profile is found. Empty or invalid inputs that are not searched cost zero. Check actual usage in each result's creditsUsed and the task's credits.used.
Send 1–10,000 inputs per task, within 16 KiB per input and 10 MiB per request. Tasks can run for up to 24 hours; completed, failed, or stopped tasks are kept for 90 days.
You can set maxCredits to stop starting new work after a credit threshold. Work already underway can still exceed it. Enrichment and source tasks share your account balance and task limits. See limits and errors.
Accepted task and results
The API returns 202 Accepted with a task ID. Save it, then check links.self every few seconds. Once status is completed, failed, or stopped, read links.results. Failed and stopped tasks can still have useful results. See the task reference.

{ "taskId": "00000000000040008000000000000001", "results": [ { "inputId": "row-1", "status": "success", "outputs": { "profileUrl": "https://www.linkedin.com/in/example-person", "linkedInUrlTitle": "Jane Doe — Example Company", "linkedInSnippet": "Jane Doe works at Example Company.", "profileConfidence": "High", "linkedInProcessed": true }, "creditsUsed": "2.5", "error": null } ], "nextCursor": null}If nextCursor is not null, pass it unchanged in the next request to get more results. Pages default to 50 results; limit accepts 1–100. A page is at most 128 KiB, so it may contain fewer results than requested.
