Company to LinkedIn API
Authorizations
X-API-Key or AuthorizationstringheaderrequiredWe recommend sending your Personal API Key in x-api-key. Datablist handles token renewal for you. Optionally, use an access token as Authorization: Bearer <token> if your application manages tokens itself. Send only one credential header.
Find a company's LinkedIn page from a domain or website. You can also send a LinkedIn company URL to find its website and standard LinkedIn company URL.
Public ID: company-to-linkedin. Get the current definition. You can read it without authentication.
Settings
Send matchingDirection with one of these values:
domain_to_linkedin: company website/domain to LinkedIn company page.linkedin_to_domain: LinkedIn company page to company website.both: either input type.
The action detects the lookup direction from each sourceUrl. The setting describes the chosen input/output configuration; it does not filter returned results. For a list containing both websites and LinkedIn company URLs, use both.
matchingDirectionstringrequiredSpecify the type of conversion you need.
"domain_to_linkedin", "linkedin_to_domain", "both"Additional properties are supported.
Inputs
Give each input an inputId you can use to match its result to your record. Put the website, domain, or LinkedIn company URL in data.sourceUrl.
Bare domains such as example.com are accepted, so this field is a string rather than a URI-only field. Standard company URLs and numeric company/Sales Navigator URLs are supported. Use company URLs rather than personal profile URLs.
sourceUrlstringrequiredMap a company website to get the Company LinkedIn Url, Or a Company LinkedIn Url to get the company website.
Additional properties are supported.
Outputs
Each result contains your inputId, a status, the data in outputs, and creditsUsed. If the input is empty, invalid, or has no match, error explains why; otherwise it is null.
companyLinkedInUrl is the standard company page URL. companyWebsite is the matched website and companyName is the company name when available. confidence is high when the website match was validated, or low otherwise; it may be absent.
The catalog and results omit the legacy matchingStatus field. Use each result's status and error for its outcome. Results may include fields absent from the catalog. Missing matches may omit all company fields.
companyNamestringThe company name, when found.
companyLinkedInUrlstringThe clean company Linkedin Page (ex: https://www.linkedin.com/company/datablist/).
"uri"confidencestringConfidence score: high (website validated) or low (not validated)
Enabled when: matchingDirection==domain_to_linkedin,both,false.
Additional properties are supported.
Credits and limits
Cost: 1.5 credit per successful lookup. 10 credits/lookup for LinkedIn Sales Navigator URL to website (ex: https://www.linkedin.com/company/69842428/).
Regular successful matches cost 1.5 credits. Numeric-ID/Sales Navigator company-to-website lookups can cost 10 credits. No-match, empty, and invalid results can have zero cost; use each result's creditsUsed and the task's credits.used for actual charges. creditsPerInput is null because pricing varies with the lookup.
Send 1–10,000 inputs per task, within 16 KiB per input and 10 MiB per request. Tasks can run for up to 24 hours; completed, failed, or stopped tasks are kept for 90 days.
You can set maxCredits to stop starting new work after a credit threshold. Work already underway can still exceed it. Enrichment and source tasks share your account balance and task limits. See limits and errors.
Accepted task and results
The API returns 202 Accepted with a task ID. Save it, then check links.self every few seconds. Once status is completed, failed, or stopped, read links.results. Failed and stopped tasks can still have useful results. See the task reference.
Example results (sample data and credit amounts):
{ "taskId": "00000000000040008000000000000001", "results": [ { "inputId": "row-1", "status": "success", "outputs": { "companyName": "Example Company", "companyWebsite": "https://example.com", "companyLinkedInUrl": "https://www.linkedin.com/company/example", "confidence": "high" }, "creditsUsed": "1.5", "error": null } ], "nextCursor": null}If nextCursor is not null, pass it unchanged in the next request to get more results. Pages default to 50 results; limit accepts 1–100. A page is at most 128 KiB, so it may contain fewer results than requested.
