Turn a noisy company name into a readable name for outreach or data matching. The enrichment preserves the company's identity and returns an AI-estimated confidence level.

Public ID: company-name-cleaner. Get the current definition. You can read it without authentication.

Settings

keepLegalSuffix defaults to false. Enable it to retain legal forms such as Inc., Ltd., GmbH, or SAS. Confidence can be High, Medium, Low, or Very Low; review low-confidence names before using them.

Credits and limits

Cost: 0.5 credits per name

Paid attempted inputs consume credits from your Datablist account. Empty input and duplicate-name handling can affect actual usage. Use each result's creditsUsed, not the illustrative example, for accounting.

Send 1–10,000 inputs per task, within 16 KiB per input and 10 MiB per request. Tasks can run for up to 24 hours; completed, failed, or stopped tasks are kept for 90 days.

You can set maxCredits to stop starting new work after a credit threshold. Work already underway can still exceed it. Enrichment and source tasks share your account balance and task limits. See limits and errors.

Accepted task

The API returns 202 Accepted with a task ID. Save it and check links.self every few seconds. Once the task is completed, failed, or stopped, get Company Name Cleaner task results. The response below is sample data.
